My name is Iain Provan, and I'd like to congratulate you on your election as a B.C. delegate to the Conservative Party of Canada National Convention 2026 in Calgary!  

One of your important tasks in Calgary will be to vote for TWO people to represent British Columbia on National Council.  This is a big deal, since National Council is the elected body that shares with the Leader and Conservative Fund Canada "the governance, management and control of the activities of the Party" (CPC Constitution, 7.6).

I am running for National Council in 2026 because:

1. We need a strong, accountable National Council that does everything it's supposed to do.
2. We don't currently have such a National Council - which is why (for example) we endured the disastrous nomination process prior to the last federal election.  
3. I have the gift set and the life experience to help re-create this kind of governing body.
